I GOT THE JOB!

I officially start on Monday. I'm insanely excited about starting this job, and hope I can impress the hell out of everyone and move up to a Lead position in no time.

GAH THIS HAS MADE MY WEEK! I needed the good news. Badly.

I feel much more relaxed and content with life in general today. I drove up to the Sequoia National Forest yesterday to get away from the city for a bit. Plus I wanted to see big trees. :P Just simply driving on a two lane road took my stress level down 10 notches at least. I filed for unemployment Monday, have a meeting with the temp agency tomorrow, and have sent out a few email resumes here and there. I've been sleeping in every day, lounging around the house, and haven't gotten hardly anything done - housework or homework. I seem to have fallen into a slump. I had the urge to go to a bar this weekend. I had no real reason to want to, I just did. Since I only worked 5:30 to 10 Friday (not counting day job), I figured that'd give us plenty of time to go out. The surgery went well as far as I've been told. I had a horribly sore throat following the surgery, and I hadn't a clue why. I ended up talking to my grandma and DUH, they probably had a breathing tube down my throat during surgery.
